New Jersey Funeral Homes
New Jersey contains perhaps one of the largest funerary establishments in the country, with over a thousand funeral directors covering and serving five hundred New Jersey funeral homes. New Jersey also offers insured and trust-based pre-planning that can cover the eventuality of death without undue pressure being placed on family members. As in many other US states, the percentage of people choosing cremation as a viable option before burial is on the rise. This is because, if handled correctly, cremation services tend to be cheaper and more convenient, and have the added advantage of allowing family members to take with them something of the deceased, in the form of small funeral urns containing the ashes. This is in distinct contrast to burial, in which all contact with the deceased ceases. A considerable industry has sprung up about these urns with New Jersey funeral homes offering different options, including urns with a photograph of the deceased upon them.
